We talk a lot about data … it’s kind of what we do! But in the context of your business, what exactly does “data” mean? Data is the information you can gather from anyone and everyone who visits your website, social media accounts or even how many people opened the email you blasted out. Think demographics, the time they spent on your site, the first page they visited on your site, what page the visitor was on when they decided to leave your site … Basically, the information you collect from any interaction your clients/customers have with your business’s website (which can even include surveys and chats!) is considered data. Simple enough, right?
